Weekend wrap-up

Weekend wrap-up

wrapping paper, ribbon, and twine

Here’s what happened in my life over the past week:

  • Santa arrived with a lovely package from Emilia of My Inner Mishmash for the My Inner Mishmash Readership Award.  That was definitely the highlight of my week.
  • My car wouldn’t start yesterday.  From what Google can tell me, it’s probably an issue with the ignition switch.  I have zero interest in dealing with that right now, and it can wait until next week.
  • Because of the non-functioning car I had to walk to the grocery store.  It’s really not that far, but it’s hard because I’m very slow moving right now.
  • Mostly, though, it was a quiet week of doing not much of anything because mind and body are too slow to let me do anything even if I wanted to (which I don’t).

How has your week been?

  1. Yay, I’m so happy I could make your week! 🙂 I think it’s not that bad to do nothing, in my view it’s way better than having a very stressful week. Mine was also very uneventful especially that I had a migraine so was bed-bound for quite a while.
Hope you have a lovely weekend. 🙂

  2. How ironic… That is exactly what happened to my roommates car. Pain in the butt that it chose the date of both our appointments though. Thank goodess it was under warranty.
Your week sounds just as exciting as mine did and for the very same reasons.
I hope that the both of us break from the grips of this sluggish sloth feeling.
    Feel Better, Ashley!! 💓

  3. Meh to the car problems … My week was absorbed by 3 days of 4-hour commutes – to/from – downtown Toronto in mostly lousy winter weather. The best part was devising an exit strategy for online dating shenanigans, which I’m beginning to dread before starting. 😊

  4. No idea why I am so very tired the whole of this week. (Monday where I’m at now). I feel I’m not productive at all, yet all the napping doesn’t leave me rested.

I’m due for my 2nd HPV jab and that stirs up anger towards my Mum for her whole attitude around menstruation, sex, Hep B jab and the HPV jab. Just…white hot anger, which I desperately swallow.
