My answers

How often, if ever, do you feel ruled by your emotions?  I don’t really know how to answer this question.  Emotions come and go, so it’s just something that it is what it is.  It can be hard to keep my emotions on the inside during periods of my illness when I’m really irritable.  The irritability will sometimes explode all over the place.

Does your mood decide your productivity level?  Indirectly.  The worse my mood is, the worse I tend to be cognitively, so I’m less capable of getting stuff done.

Are you bipolar or do you have another behavioral diagnosis?  I hate the term behavioural diagnosis, but that’s just me.  I have major depressive disorder.

How do you respond to having a not-so-good day? (Sleep, cry, nothing)  I suppose it depends in what way it’s not a good day.  And good is pretty relative; I don’t really have actually good days.  I don’t do a whole lot other than blog-related stuff, so it doesn’t really change that much from one day to the next.

If you could give your moods names, what would they be?  I’m not sufficiently creative at the moment to come up with answers for that.

Feel free to join in!

    My answers:
    1) No, I do NOT let my emotions rule me, I think it’s a personal choice to be happy and I try hard to stay in that mind frame. I think some people wallow in misery and blame whatever for their bad mood instead of making an effort to feel better and/or positive.
    2) I will admit that some days I feel low or blah and do not feel particularly productive. If I’ve had many rejections that week, for instance, I may not feel like writing much, or if my energy is low, I may do very little that day.
    3) I have no idea, the only thing I’ve ever been diagnosed with is depression, but one of my doctors acknowledged that I felt like I had fibromyalgia, which I try to manage with diet, exercise, and supplements.
    4) I still try to write some even on the not-so-good days, or I may do things I like to do, like crafts, and/or watch my shows on Hulu and/or Netflix. I never sleep much anyway and find it difficult to sleep during the day. Never been a napper. If I sleep during the day, I’m usually sick and on medicine.
    5) My moods are generally upbeat, blah, or what I call irate…don’t get in my way on those days, lol. 80% of the time I’m upbeat, thank goodness!
