Happy birthday to me… but the gift is for you!

psych meds made simple

Today I hit the big 4-0.  I remember when I thought that 40 marked the beginning of being officially “old”.  Now it’s just another number.  In addition, though, I’ve embraced becoming more curmudgeonly, and even if someone called me old it wouldn’t bother me.  What is a bit a weird is seeing people a fair bit younger than me with kids and thinking they’re way too young to have kids.  In reality, though, I’m just old enough that my ovaries are shrivelling up and getting ready to die.

Anyway, that’s enough about getting old.  I don’t celebrate birthdays and haven’t for years, because I just don’t think it’s all that important, but I thought it would be a good day to give the rest of you a little gift.

Today, March 15, the ebook version of my book Psych Meds Made Simple is available for free on Amazon.  Make sure to pick up your copy!  And if you could leave a rating or review on Amazon or Goodreads that would be extra awesome!

First I had to look up “curmudgeonly” haha. Happy birthday and thanks for offering your book for free. I plan to read it and write a book review! Gonna share this with some of my therapist colleagues.

Happy Birthday!!! Thanks for the copy of your E-Book! I really look forward to reading it and will definitely leave a review. I’ll likely be able to buy paper book version of it soon since I like having physical copies of mental health related books. Hope you have a great day 🙂

Happy, happy birthday!!! I agree, no need for celebrations but I am glad this day occurred 40 years ago!!! On my 16th birthday, I was sad because some people didn’t show up to my party and my Ma told me then that the only people who really care about our birthdays are us and our mom’s. I’ve held on to that and relieved everyone else from those expectations.

About being old, look at it this way… I will always be 3 months older than you. 😂
