Weekend Wrap-Up

Weekend wrap-up

wrapping paper, ribbon, and twine

This week has been a bit of a write-off for me.  I’ve tried to keep my consciousness limited to the outskirts of my brain, if that makes any sense, and I suppose my crappy concentration is likely related to that.  I’ve got a few books that I want to read that I haven’t even gotten started on, and I haven’t made any progress on some other stuff I wanted to do.  Normally this weekly post comes pretty much straight out of my weekly summaries in my bullet journal, but my journal has been pretty neglected this week.

On a positive note, I had a massage, and went to yoga for the first time in a couple weeks.

How has your week been?

  1. Sometimes it’s just what our brains need, being a bit neglectful about stuff that isn’t necessary to do just right now, at least that’s what my brain sometimes seems to tell me. I hope next week will be more productive for you, I know it may sometimes feel frustrating when you want to do so many things but end up doing nothing. 🙂

    1. I completely agree!! Often, I just zone out and get nothing done, and I can tell it’s because my mind is deep-processing something.

  2. Also pretty awful, as I guess you’ve seen in my blog. Didn’t make much progress with job applications, although my CV is almost where I want it to be, although it’s taken about three times longer than it should have. And then today was the saddest day in the Jewish calendar, when we have to be miserable all day. So not a great week. And I’ve got a slightly scary medical appointment tomorrow…

    1. I hope the appointment goes ok tomorrow. That’s great that you go the CV ready; even if it took longer than you’d have liked, you probably wouldn’t have been ready to use it earlier anyway.

      1. Btw, I just found a comment from you from two weeks or more ago in my spam folder. As it was about religion, I didn’t want you to think I was offended and deleted it.
