Things that make me smile

Amidst the hard stuff, there are still positive things floating around to enjoy.  Here are some of the things that make me smile:

  • my pet guinea pigs, their silly play, and the cute ways they beg for food
  • comedy: The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Russell Peters, Chelsea Handler
  • no other tv show has ever made me laugh as much as Seinfeld
  • the woodpecker family that took up residence on my balcony in the early part of the spring
  • cats that try to climb in my purse
  • doggy kisses
  • going for walks in the snow
  • spring coming into bloom
  • funny stories from bloggers
  • cute animal videos on Youtube
  • getting positive feedback from my patients
  • babies – I’ve never had a strong desire to have my own munchkins, but I’m that crazy person in line at the grocery store behind you making silly faces at your little one

I can definitely appreciate how animal-based this is! Animals always make me smile. I am forever trying to entice other people’s dogs to come play with me. I have a hamster, and much as she’s a deeply violent individual she’s also incredibly cute and makes me smile every day.

That’s hilarious, because I have an aunt who wants to wage war against the woodpeckers. 😀

Yay for guinea piggies and other sweet animals!

My own little kitty brought me a mouse yesterday. It made me shriek like a banshee, which ironically saved the mouse.

Aww! I also love babies, and spring, and a lot of those things really. 🙂 I’ll have to see if I can watch Seinfeld! Today I smiled at a nice pond, while watching videos of my sister dance, when I was around my family, when I read this!! 🙂

I need a tiny animal so bad. But im so so so very scared that my cat uh won’t mirror my enthusiasm. He gets jealous and stops eating and sleeping. Just walks around here and there.

Hands down, Seinfeld then Cheers were my all tie favorite sitcoms. I love sharing goofy moments with my best buddy Jason. No matter what kind of mood we are in, we make each other laugh hysterically all the time. I absolutely adore when my parrot (Peanut) and I hold a full conversation. He is so intelligent and registers on my moods perfectly. I especially love when he say’s “Mommy, mommy, rub the head.” in his little baby voice.
I enjoy my house plants and keep bringing more into my bedroom which is now resembling a jungle. I also love being surrounded by the angel collection that makes me feel safe.
I’m also a Netflix binge junkie, that craves documentaries, crime dramas, and a good comedy to lighten my mood. 🙂
